Chanel’s direction under Matthieu Blazy for Autumn/Winter 2026 was a hit or miss; people either loved the collection or disliked it. Many people questioned whether or not he would be fit for the new title that he recently obtained for the luxury fashion brand. But after his Métiers d’Art collection, any doubt in people’s minds has been whipped away. Matthieu Blazy clearly demonstrated his vision for the french fashion brand under his leadership, that he would maintain the luxury house’s signature style and sophistication whilst introducing new concepts and experimental pieces to brighten Chanel’s image and make it more appealing for the current market.
