In order to achieve the goals that you have set for 2025, you must first change your mindset. The way that you think will either hinder you and keep you stuck in the same position in life, or it will elevate you to the next level.
Your mindset includes those limiting beliefs that you have or the self-sabotaging tendencies that you possess. Unless these patterns and beliefs are changed, all the plans that you have will end up destroyed by your hands. You need to have an abundance and growth mindset to achieve your goals; these mindsets let you know that the world is your oyster and that you can do anything and achieve anything, that the universe has an abundance of resources, and that whatever dream or goal you have is not too big.
Your mindset either draws and attracts opportunities, experiences, and people to you, or it repels people, opportunities, and experiences from you.
How to know your mindset ?
1. Become aware of yourself and the types of conversations that you engage in (are they negative or positive).
2. Check your circle and surroundings; when you meet up, are all of the conversations negative, gossiping, and putting others down, or are they about how you’re planning for your future (ways to better yourself), what goals you have, and how you are aiming to achieve these goals?
3. Check what you are listening to on a regular basis (music, TV shows, podcasts, social media accounts, and posts).
4. How do you feel about yourself, and what do you do on a daily basis to take care of yourself?
5. How do you react when you achieve, receive, or buy something great or of value (do you self-sabotage, or do you nurture and realize that you deserve it)?
How to Shift Your Mindset?
1. Change your surroundings/environment (friendships, people who are in close proximity to you, the house/country/city that you reside in, your job, etc.)
2. Change what you allow into your ear gate: the types of shows you watch, music, and podcasts you listen to, the counsel that you allow to guide you.
3. Begin to do the shadow work within yourself (start not only monitoring your thoughts and words but also begin implementing words to replace the negative).
4. Begin taking care of yourself (health, wealth, spiritual life, mental well-being); this will help you to see the value of you so that when you receive something of value, you will not self-sabotage but will know that you are deserving of it.
5. Protect your space and withdraw from things that drain you.
