How To Begin Your Heel Journey

heels can be such a controversial topic especially in todays society where we all value comfort over pain. If you are someone who is looking to be able to start wearing heels and step more out of your comfort zone then I’ve got you.

As like you I am also trying to walk in heels more instead of opting for trainers or flats.

How to begin:

Start with the baiscs-

Out of all the shoes you wear regularly what colour shoes do you wear the most. Based on that determine what colour heels you will get the most wear out of.

Start with lower/more comfortable heels-

I am so glad that kitten heels are back in fashion as I want to be a heels girl without breaking my body and my feet giving out. I would recommend to start with a cute pair of heels that are comfortable and once you can strut in them all night then move up 1 or 2 inches.

Practice your walk-

By practicing your walk at home before going outside you will be more comfortable and confident walking outside.

Have designated places to wear heels-

Wear heels to work and bring flats in your bag just in case your feet get tired. Wear heels whilst shopping or going out for a coffee / diner date with friends, family.

This will help you to get your steps in and more used to wearing your heels.

Finally be confident-

Confidence is what sets supermodels from regular people. Supermodels all exude a certain level of fierceness and confidence whilst they are strutting in their heels.

You may not look or be a supermodel but baby when you put on those heels you need to become Naomi Campbell or Yasmin Ghauri.
