Welcome back Readers,
As we all may already know life happens in waves there are ups and downs. I am pretty sure that we all enjoy and are able to manage the highs of life but when it comes to the lows in life very few of us are able to manage or stay a float.
Today’s article will look into some ways in which you can keep your peace and stay a float during the storm or chaos of life.
Here are some tips and tricks:
1) Feel the emotions-
In the midst of chaos or storm or whenever life isn’t going your way we all automatically run away from our emotions and go straight to avoidance and try to look unscaved.
By allowing yourself to feel the emotions and go through the motions, you will heal quicker than an individual who is avoiding and deflecting. By feeling the emotions you are able to process and analyse what is going on around and inside of you and to fully heal from whatever storm is brewing.
By choosing to avoid you are not dealing with the situation but are ignoring and trying to move on from the situation without fully processing it.
It is the equivalent of attempting to heal a broken arm with nothing but a pain killer and a plaster. The pain killer may supress the pain slightly but the situation hasn’t been dealt with.
2) Take some time to yourself-
If you need to distance or isolate yourself for a while then do it. If you are not as social during this time then so be it.
Take some time to yourself and do things that will give you peace and soothe you whilst your life is chaotic or falling apart.
3) Speak life into your life and listen to positive things-
This will make the biggest of differences to how you end up getting out of the storm if you surround yourself with negative words and things during this time then it will drastically shift your outlook on life and you too will become negative and grumpy.
But when you read, speak and hear positive affirmations and scripture over your life it will change your entire outlook of the storm and make you realise that although weeping may endure for the night, joy comes in the morning.
After the storm you will less likely be bitter and miserable whereas one who only speaks, read and hear negativity will be way worse after the storm.
4) Talk to someone-
Talking to somebody can help to keep you at ease and remove the burden of the situation from your shoulders. It can also provide you with a different perspective and view point of the situation and help to be your guidance and strength throughout the chaos.
Pray to God about the situation that you are going through he will help to order your steps and comfort you throughout the storm.
5) Remember-
As the saying goes sometimes there has to be a storm before the rainbows comes. After the storm has arrived you will be at more peace and you will be more stronger and resilient.
So fear not it will be well with you.
