What better way to start the new year then to shop the end of the year sales. Honestly in my opinion the end of the year sale are bigger sales than black Friday sales in Europe and it is the best time to get your hands on some staple pieces.

Here are the steps to get the most out of the end of year sale:

1. Make a list of things you would like to purchase

By making a list of things you would like to purchase you will be able to purchase all of your essentials/non negotiables without wavering. If you don’t have a list you will end being overwhelmed with the amount of things that are discounted and end up spending all your money on things you don’t even need.

So make a list girl so that you can get the most of the sale.

2. Stock up on Winter clothing

Most people do not realise that the best time to purchase clothing for that season is during the end of that seasons sale.

An example of this is purchasing summer clothing during the end of summer sale. As stores will be getting rid of all their stock to make room for the season. You will get to stock up on the necessary but great quality pieces of clothing for winter at a largely discounted price.

Purchase a new winter coat, shoes, pieces of clothing etc. you may not be able to wear it this year but next year you will be able to and look chic.

3. Purchase electronic equipment

Do not only use this time to just stock up on clothing pieces use this time to get the best deals on electronics.

Check out the discounts on phones, earphones, coffee machines, TVs, electric toothbrushes and laptops.

4. Check the discounts on each site prior to the sale

This will help you to mentally prepare yourself for which stores to visit first and which ones to visit last. The ones on the top of your list will have the biggest sales.

5. Pre prepare your shopping cart

Get all the correct sizing for each garment and product you would like to purchase during the sale. Put them all in your cart and wait for the discount to be activated and then purchase your goods.
