Today’s topic of discussion will be affordable perfumes.

We all want to not only look good but smell good. To walk around the room and have people asking us what are we wearing, but not everyone has the finances to drop 100 plus on perfume especially not in this cost of living crisis.

I am by no means a seasoned professional in the perfume industry but here are my top picks of perfumes that will make you smell good on a budget. 

1. Zara perfumes 

I feel like Zara in general sells a range of affordable perfumes which smell amazing and are dupes for most high-end perfumes. My favourite one so far is the rose gourmand bottle perfume from Zara, it has gotten me the most compliments when I have worn it outside.

You should definitely go into your local Zara store to test out and sniff their perfumes to find out your signature scent.

2. Oil based 

I love oil-based perfumes as they provide you with a range of scents that most times last longer than normal spray on perfumes. They are also best for layering perfumes on each other.

I normally put my oil-based perfume on my pulse points and then put my spray on perfume on top of those areas and also my clothes and hair for maximum coverage. 

3. Scented lotions 

This is another affordable and great way to smell delectable. Although scented lotion do wear off a lot quicker than perfumes do they are a great way to layer perfume. Especially if you are trying to achieve a more coconut/vanilla scent.

4. Spray perfumes 

Sprays are an easy and affordable way to smell amazing on a budget. Especially if you are going somewhere such as the gym etc. where you do not want to wear a strong and overpowering perfume. Sprays are great way to layer on perfume and to achieve the scent you would like.

Victoria Secret have a range of delectable spray scents and matching lotions to wear. My favourite is definitely Bare vanilla, their coconut scented one is also nice. Sol De Janeiro also have a range of enticing scented sprays.
